Our Rooms

We have four en suite double bedrooms and a six-single-beds dormitory. 

All our bedrooms come with a panoramic view of the Spiti river valley and surrounding mountains. Each room comes with an en suite with solar heated water. We provide an electric blanket in all our rooms to ensure that your spend a warm, luxurious night in this cold desert.

01 - Ground Floor

Sutra 

Literally it means a thread or line that holds things together and is derived from the verbal root siv-, meaning to sew. In Buddhism, sutra or sutta refers mostly to canonical scriptures, many of which are regarded as records of the oral teachings of Gautama Buddha.

Mantra

A mantra is a sacred word, syllable, or phrase used as an invocation or as object of meditation; its use is far older than Buddhism and dates back thousands of years. It is a kind of magical spell, a way to focus the mind and transform it from an ordinary state to an extraordinary one.

03 - First Floor

Mandala

A Mandala (Sanskrit for “circle”) is an artistic representation of higher thought and deeper meaning derived from the words for container (la) and essence (manda). It is a representation of the cosmic universe in a circular pattern which leads to a central point -- a symbol or wholeness, of beginning and end.

Nirvana

In Buddhism, the highest state of consciousness, in which the soul is freed from all desires and attachments.

It is the final beatitude that transcends suffering, karma, and samsara.Derived from the Sanskrit word nirvāṇa which means to'be extinguished'.

Dormitory

Six single beds

For backpackers, bikers, and budget travellers, we have a six-bed dormitory with Sherpa blankets and a shared washroom. With two sets of bunk beds and two single beds, there is ample space for you and your fellow travellers. It comes with a shared washroom.

Top Floor

Library & Meditation Room

Curated especially for those who love to curl up with a book and do nothing else but emerse themselves in the world of words, our small but precious library has everything from rare coffee table books to canonical Literature. 

We also have a separate meditation cum pooja room with a great view!

Traditional Dining Room

We serve our meals in a traditional dining area with baithaks and a tandoor. It is a place where everyone gathers by the fire in the evening to share stories, make momos, and memories.

Find a cozy spot on our terrace for an unforgettable night sky experience. We have a clear view of the Milky Way from our home and you can spend the night at our sit-out (or lie-down) area here to marvel at all the wonders of the night sky theatre.
